WATCH: Jey Uso shoots his shot at Rhea Ripley in hilarious fashion after Mami’s return to WWE

Jey Uso is, at this point, basically an extra from a classic Usher Raymond video because he’s got it, he’s got it bad for Rhea Ripley. On the July 15 episode of WWE RAW, shortly after Mami broke her silence and confirmed a Summerslam title match against Liv Morgan, it was “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio pleading that he’d make it right.

He’d then get flowers thrown back in his face and that’s when Jey Uso slipped into the picture to confirm Ripley was single, to the delightfully petty grin of Damian Priest, driving Mysterio to set up a match against Uso that he’d lose despite Morgan’s interference.

Afterwards, Jey Uso went full Steph Curry — getting all of the shots up.

It’s a valiant and relentless effort, and that’s respectable, though it’s unclear if a triple hashbrown or the All-Star Special will be enough to woo Ripley to some Main Event loving.

Then again, those are rather delicious.

It wasn’t the first time Uso has made his affections toward Ripley known and likely won’t be the last, and now is as good a time as any to try and peel her away from Mysterio — though it did appear that Mami began to forgive her “Dom Dom” by giving him a black rose and telling him, after three hours of begging, that he belongs to her (and not the other way around).

That is either her warming back up to him, despite being caught in yet another compromising position with Liv Morgan on Monday, or buttering him up to devour him whole at Summerslam with a Riptide.

That’s a him problem though, as far as Jey Uso is concerned.

Maybe she reminds Uso of a girl that he once knew.
