After Shannen Doherty 's death, her friend Tara Furiani had some harsh words for Kurt Iswarienko , Shannen's ex-husband.
The Charmed star tragically died at the age of 53 after a battle with stage 4 breast cancer on Saturday. Shannen agreed to finalize her divorce from Kurt the day before her death . She signed a filing to waive spousal support and agreed to a "default or uncontested dissolution" of their marriage.
Tara slammed Kurt, sharing a scathing post on LinkedIn on Sunday. "I'm really sad and upset about my friend Shannen's death… Because of the divorce she was going through at the time," she wrote.

She said on the site: "She had stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to numerous parts of her body, death was inevitable and she knew that… made peace with that."
"But, her pain and suffering in the months preceding it didn’t have to be so profound if her husband was just a decent human being. Could have just displayed a little humanity to his dying wife," Tara, a business consultant, added.
She slammed Kurt, writing: "Life is so hard… life is extra hard with cancer and without the support you thought you'd have. If you have the opportunity to be a decent person, take it. You have no idea what people are dealing with and going through…"

Tara ended her post with a plea for women to get tested for breast cancer. "Oh, and ladies… please get screened. We shouldn’t be losing people anymore to this. Early detection is critical," she said.
Shannen and Kurt married in 2011 and the actress filed for divorce in April 2023. This was Shannen's third marriage - she was previously married to Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994 and to Rick Salomon in 2002 for nine months.
In June, the actress claimed that Kurt was delaying the divorce process because he was waiting for her to die. She said in court documents: "It is simply not right that Kurt be permitted to prolong our divorce in hopes that I die before he is required to pay me while he continues to live his life and shirk his responsibilities to his dying wife of more than 11 years."
Kurt's lawyers disputed this claim, saying that he offered a settlement in October 2023.
