Six Vietnamese Americans have been found dead at a hotel in central Bangkok , Thailand, according to reports. Officers from the Lumphini Police Station discovered six bodies at the hotel in the Ratchaprasong area around 7.30 pm local time on July 16, as reported by the Thai Enquirer.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Pol Lt Gen Thiti Saengsawang has rushed to the scene. The cause of death is still under investigation.

The official divulged that there were no signs of a struggle at the scene. The bodies of the victims were found after staff went to check their rooms, given guests were meant to check out at that time. Their baggage had already been packed, according to Thai journalist Itthipat Pinraroj.

Reports initially suggested that the victims may have been poisoned and there was evidence they had been drinking tea and coffee. However, The Mirror has not yet been able to independently verify these details.
