The Acolyte is the newest chapter of the Star Wars canon, and after 8 weeks of absolutely fascinating developments, it’s almost time for that chapter to end. Seven episodes of The Acolyte have aired on Disney+, and the eighth and final episode will be airing today to wrap the whole thing up — and there’s a lot to wrap up.

With the first and likely last season of The Acolyte set to wrap up with this next episode, we thought we’d give a quick explainer walking you through exactly how and when you can watch The Acolyte’s finale , including the exact air time of The Acolyte.

What Time Does The Acolyte Come Out?

The Acolyte will be available to stream at 6:00pm Pacific Time (PDT) on July 16, 2024 , which is 9:00pm Eastern Time (EDT). While many Disney+ series are released at midnight on the morning of their release date, Disney occasionally switches things up for the bigger shows to hit at the right time for social media hype in the US.

Due to this, in most regions the episode will be available on July 17 instead, thanks to time zones. Here’s when you can watch The Acolyte series finale in your region:

    July 16, 2024

    • PDT : 6:00pm
    • EDT : 9:00pm
    • BRT : 10:00pm

    July 17, 2024

    • BST : 2:00am
    • CEST : 3:00am
    • IST : 6:30am
    • JST : 10:00am
    • AEST : 11:00am
    • NZST : 1:00pm

The Acolyte Season Finale — How to Watch

As with just about every Star Wars project – feature films excluded – The Acolyte will be available exclusively on Disney+ . Thankfully, unlike the best anime on Disney+/Hulu , Disney doesn’t separate the show between Disney+ and Hulu in the US — you’ll only need a Disney+ subscription.

Typically the episode will become available at the exact same time for everybody, but sometimes there’s a slight delay for some people. This is usually resolved within a few minutes, but in the past has been up to 30 minutes depending on the device or the region. If you don’t see the episode, try closing down the app or restarting your device.
