PHOTOS: Taylor Farm Park opens in Henrico County’s Sandston area

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Taylor Farm Park has opened in Henrico County, bringing a skate park, splash park, playground and more to the county’s East End. Check out all it has to offer!

The ceremony and ribbon-cutting for the park — located at 200 Whiteside Road — began at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16.

The county will host a series of grand opening events through Saturday, July 20.

Visitors can expect to enjoy a splash park, play stream and mist mounds that will help to cool the off, as well as playgrounds, a skate park, pump track and flow bowl.

The park also features an event lawn for outdoor movie showings and programs.

In addition, a memorial area honors public safety workers and military service members.

The park will be open daily from dawn to dusk, and the spray park will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the summer, though exact dates have not yet been determined.

The skate park and flow bowl/pump track are open daily until 10 p.m.
