Ilja Dragunov: Bron Breakker Still Has Some Bones Inside Him That I Need To Break

The main event of Monday’s episode of WWE Raw was a one-on-one match between Sami Zayn and Ilja Dragunov for the WWE Intercontinental Championship match. This was a match requested by Zayn.

Both starts gave everything they had. But the match unfortunately ended in a no contest as former NXT Champion Bron Breakker , who was earlier ejected from the building, showed up, interfered, and attacked both Ilja Dragunov and Sami Zayn.

Following the show, in a special Digital Exclusive , Cathy Kelly caught up with Dragunov to get his thoughts. The Mad Dragon appreciated Sami Zayn in his championship run. But at the same time also mentioned that he wants to break the bones of Bron Breakker.

“All I got to say is that Bron Breakker still has some bones inside him that I need to break. That’s just easy as it gets. And regards to the rest, yeah. I am very very close. But what you want me to say? Sami Zayn is a prime example of a true champion. He is at his best when he fights from the ground. And every time, every single time he leaves his soul in this ring. But so do I. So I did today, so I showed to him that I can do that. I showed everyone that I can do that. That I can play this game. And if no one is convinced at that point then those people are blind. Because look in my face, you see the sheer symbol of will. And I’m not about to stop right now. Not at all. Thank you,” Ilja Dragunov said.
