HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A teenager was seriously injured in a crash in Huntingdon County earlier this month.

State police said on July 8, around 5:39 a.m. they received a report of a single-vehicle crash on Ewing Road, just south of Kyper Road in West Township.

The teenage girl, identified by state police as 19-year-old Skye Robinson, was traveling southbound on Ewing Road and hit a deer. This caused her Jeep Cherokee to hit an embankment and flip. Twin Creek Ambulance transported Robinson to a drop zone where she was then flown to UPMC Altoona for her injuries in the crash.

Crews from Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department and Shavers Creek Volunteer Fire Department had to extract the girl from the vehicle. Her jeep was disabled and was towed by Hunter’s Garage.

Robinson’s current condition is unknown at this time.
