Greenbrier County man wanted for failing to register as a sex offender

LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The West Virginia State Police Lewisburg detachment is searching for Christopher Rider of Lewisburg, for failure to register as a sex offender. According to reports, Rider generally registers at the Lewisburg office; however, troopers state that they have been unable to locate Rider since the middle of June. It is unclear whether Rider remains in the area at this time.

In addition to the warrant for failure to register as a sex offender, officials state that Rider has another warrant for his arrest, as well.

Anyone with information regarding Rider’s whereabouts is asked to contact the West Virginia State Police Lewisburg detachment by calling 304-647-7600.
