Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library in Little Rock to undergo renovations, limiting access

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Services at the Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library in Little Rock will be temporarily disrupted as the library undergoes renovations starting this month.

Officials with the Central Arkansas Library System said light renovations will begin July 31, taking two weeks to complete. The library will remain open, but certain sections will be unavailable while new floors are installed, library officials said.

After the two-week project, the library will be closed to replace the flooring in its entryway. CALS officials said that the closure time will be determined at a later date.

Library officials said that the 24-hour book locker and holds will be available. Computer access may be limited or unavailable and study rooms will be unavailable during renovations.

Those needing the services can visit Thomson Library located at 38 Rahling Circle and Fletcher Library located at 823 N. Buchanan Street. Patrons needing library services on Sundays can visit Dee Brown Library, McMath Library, or Sanders Library.

CALS has been upgrading several of its locations, including Dee Brown Library, McMath Library, Bobby L. Roberts Library and the CALS Ron Robinson Theater.
