Anthony Edwards’ Adidas AE 1 sneaker is soon set to get one of its sleekest looks yet.

The Adidas AE 1 “Silver Metallic” will release this fall with the TPU wings take on a reflective sheen. While the namesake color takes over the honeycomb-shaped pattern, the rest of the sneaker maintains a familiar arrangement in black. Turquoise blue branding is then used for the three stripes logo on the carbon fiber mustache, as well as Edwards’ logo on the tongue pool. Faint hits of the color can also be seen through the outsole’s gaps in the Jetboost cushioning.

Just last week, Edwards and Adidas agreed to a “ significant multi-year contract extension ” first reported by Footwear News. NBA insider Shams Charania reported the new deal is worth eight figures annually.

Edwards’ signature sneaker debut has been a massive hit for Adidas since launching in December, regularly selling out with the emergence of new colorways. The AE 1’s first low-top iteration is slated to release this Saturday, July 20, and several additional colorways for both the mid- and low-top will continue to release in the coming months.

Along with James Harden’s Harden Vol. 8, the AE 1 has been at the forefront of a new era for Adidas Basketball that’s generated widespread praise and more excitement than the sector has seen in years. In a recent FN feature story on the brand’s resurgence in the sport , Adidas Basketball general manager Eric Wise said of Edwards: “We know what his ceiling is. It’s pretty high, if there is one. He’s skyrocketing. You can’t really forecast that, but you knew he had something, from the personality standpoint, the athletic standpoint, his overall game [and] just being himself. He feels like a part of us — it doesn’t feel like a different athlete from a different brand.”

The Adidas AE 1 “Silver Metallic” will release this fall, although a more precise release date has not yet been confirmed. Pricing is set at $120.
