Benson Boone new music
On April 5, Boone dropped his debut studio album “Fireworks & Rollerblades.”
Over 15 songs, the 22-year-old demonstrates an innate knack for emotional, inspirational anthems that will make you want to sing along at the top of your lungs in the shower, car and anywhere else you might let it all out.
Starting with the impressive “Intro,” which sets the cinematic tone, Boone takes listeners on an exhilarating ride for 50 minutes.
Highlights include the radio ready “Be Someone,” emotive ballad “Slow It Down,” sleek banger “Cry” and endlessly catchy “There She Goes.”
However, the standout nestled in an album comprised of standouts is Boone’s breakout banger “Beautiful Things.”
The song opens with a slow acoustic build. Then, before you know it, the powerful track soars to uncharted heights when Boone shows off his otherworldly vocal range; you wouldn’t believe it but the kid hits notes higher than the Empire State Building.
