French Montana is getting mixed reactions after he invited controversial influencer Andrew Tate on stage during his show in Romania.

The Coke Boys founder was on stage at the Beach, Please! Festival on Saturday night, July 13, when he called on Tate to join him. French included a video of him introducing Tate plus other photos and videos of them together in his Instagram post.

"First rapper to do a stream with top G and the first to bring Top G out on stage!" French wrote in his caption. "ROMANIA WE LOVE YOU. S/O Andrew Tate + Tristan Tate."

The comment section was full of mixed reactions from fans. Some said the move was "embarrassing" and that they were "disappointed" in the rapper for shouting out Tate and his brother Tristan.

"Nah i used to like french montana 💀💀💀 f**k is this bruh," one fan wrote.

"French, why would you bring the Tate brothers on stage?" another fan wrote. "Why would you affiliate? They are seriously shady guys. I am disapponted."

The Tate brothers and two other Romanian citizens were arrested in late 2022 and indicted in 2023 on charges of human trafficking, rape, and setting up a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. All the suspects involved have denied the allegations. Tate was able to attend the show in Romania after a court ruled the defendant could travel freely throughout the European Union until their trial began. However, a court of appeal overturned the decision , which means Tate and the others must remain in Romania.

Despite the backlash, some people offered their support to French like rapper NoCap , who wrote "🐐it would never be another French stamp." Other fans also dropped some fire and heart emojis. This is one Tate's first positive interactions with a Hip-Hop artist. Previously, the firebrand podcaster called Ice Spice a "demon" and went back-and-forth with Meek Mill on social media.
