HARRINGTON -- The Delaware Farm Bureau is counting down the days  until they can support young ag professionals while they show their livestock, enjoy a refreshing milkshake from the Delaware Farm Bureau food booth and watch the Delaware Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers' Antique Tractor Pull.

The Delaware Farm Bureau is proud to be a part of the Delaware summertime tradition once again. Throughout the ten days, the DEFB will educate the public on the importance of agriculture.

The DEFB will have a booth located in the Delaware Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Commodities building. Visitors at the booth can test their knowledge of agriculture with a fun trivia game of guessing the number of lima beans in the jar for a chance to win prize donated by Del-One Federal Credit Union.

The DEFB food booth  is managed by the Delaware Farm Bureau Women's Committee and the proceeds will go towards various Women's Committee programs, which includes their annual scholarship.

The Delaware Farm Bureau will also participate in the Pig Kissing Contest and Kid's Day.

The Delaware Farm Bureau will be at the following events during the fair:

    • Delaware Farm Bureau Information Booth: July 19-27 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (opening at 12 p.m. on July 18) at the Delaware Department of Agriculture Commodities Building
