Ingrid Andress, who went viral following her rendition of the National Anthem at Monday’s Home Run Derby, admitted on Tuesday that she was inebriated during her performance.

“I’m not gonna bulls–t y’all, I was drunk last night,” the four-time Grammy nominee shared on X . “I’m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need.

“That was not me last night,” she wrote. “I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I’ll let y’all know how rehab is I hear it’s super fun.”

Andress’ off-key performance of the “Star-Spangled Banner” was torn to shreds on social media, with many comparing it to previous, infamous renditions of the National Anthem — including Fergie’s performance at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game and Roseanne Barr’s performance at a 1990 San Diego Padres game .

You can watch Andress’ take on the National Anthem below:

The country singer released her debut album, Lady Like , in 2020. She earned three Grammy nominations the following year, including Best New Artist, and received her fourth nomination two years later for the song “Wishful Drinking,” a collaboration with fellow country artist Sam Hunt.

The MLB All-Star Game follows Tuesday (Fox, 7/6c), with another country act, multi-platinum selling artist Cody Johnson, set to sing the National Anthem.
