Weeks before school starts, Greenville County Schools has 150 open positions

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – With only weeks until the start of the new school year, Greenville County Schools is still looking to fill more than 150 positions in the district.

The school district hosted a job fair today at Bryson Middle School in hopes of filling some of those positions.

According to the district, the biggest needs heading into the school year are in food service, building services and bus drivers.

“So obviously bus drivers are the most critical right now so we want people to apply here if they can so we can get them through the system and ready to go,” said LeVetta Williams, operations manager for Greenville County Schools.
