2 dead, 2 others hurt in Darlington County wreck

DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A two-car crash along Highway 49 in Darlington County on Tuesday morning left two people dead, authorities said.

It happened just before 10 a.m. near Timberlake Drive, about two miles south of Darlington when two cars collided, Lance Cpl. Lena Butler of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

Two other people were hurt and transported to an area hospital.

No further information was immediately available. Count on News13 for updates.
