Ingrid Andress went viral for all the wrong reasons during MLB All-Star week.

The country music star was tabbed as the National Anthem singer for Monday's Home Run Derby. Before baseball's best sluggers took center stage at Globe Life Park, Andress was sent out to deliver her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

What followed was a less-than-stellar showing. Andress fumbled through the anthem, delivering what is being dubbed one of the worst National Anthems performances of all time. It left many wondering what exactly happened to the four-time Grammy nominee.

Well, she gave an answer to the debacle Tuesday.

In an Instagram post , Andress admitted to being drunk when she got on the mic to sing to the crowd in attendance for the Derby. The 32-year-old apologized to the league, the fans and the country in general for her rendition, and also revealed that she is checking herself into a rehabilitation clinic.

"I'm not gonna bulls— y'all, I was drunk last night," Andress' post read. "I'm checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night.

"I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I'll let y'all know how rehab is, I hear it's super fun."

Ingress is scheduled to perform Wednesday at the Cannery Hall in Nashville, Tenn. She has not revealed what will happen with that show given the recent events in Texas.
