Animal Control Officer Monica Wright tells 6 News she is the investigating officer in the case. She says it stems from an April 2024 incident where two dogs were abandoned. She says the dogs were abandoned on E. Webb Rd. in DeWitt Township.

Anyone with information on the identity of the two individuals pictured, or the abandonment of two dogs in DeWitt Township in April, is asked to call Animal Control at 989-224-5116.
