    Ephraim McDowell Dedman Primary Care welcomes new provider

    Ephraim McDowell Dedman Primary Care welcomes Amanda Moss, FNP-BC, APRN. Amanda will join advanced practice providers Melissa Sims and Christina Leber, on August 5.

    Mandy is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). Mandy graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, and completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University in 2023. Mandy has worked in various healthcare positions, including the infectious disease medical intensive care unit (MICU), neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and served as a Clinical House Supervisor. Since graduating with her Master’s, she has been providing urgent care at a facility in Harrodsburg. Mandy will be providing primary care services including physical exams, well-child exams, sports physicals, Medicare wellness exams, as well as treatment for acute and chronic illness for all ages.

    Mandy lives in Burgin with her husband, Mason, and daughter, Callie. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and going to the lake.

    Ephraim McDowell Dedman Primary Care is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mandy is accepting new patients, and appointments may be scheduled now by calling (859) 734-5173. Ephraim McDowell Dedman Primary Care is located at 466 Linden Avenue, next to Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital.
