Pickup goes off road, jumps creek, crashing into culvert near Old 66 Blvd

JASPER COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — Just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday reports of a crash on West 7th near Old 66 Blvd alerted Jasper County E-911.

Carl Junction Fire, Jasper County Deputies, METS ambulance responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.

On scene we learn it was a non-injury crash. However the driver was transported by private vehicle to an area hospital as precaution.

Tpr L. Crowe of Troop D tells KOAM’s Shannon Becker the work pickup truck was westbound, left the road to the right, crashing below the roadway.

We observe the path as it left the road and ramped over Spring Branch Creek, which runs beneath west 7th, and crashed into the culvert on the other side.

Comer’s Wrecker are removing the pickup and debris.
