    WWE superstar Jey Uso.

Jey Uso is one of the hottest wrestlers in the WWE.

He is consistently among the top merchandise sellers. He's a clear fan favorite. And his entrance is a highlight of every Monday Night RAW. Uso has also overcome some of the criticism surrounding a perceived limited move set.

During a recent episode of " The Hall of Fame Podcast ," Booker T admitted that Uso has earned the right to win a championship.

"It’s gotta happen," Booker T said. "They’re like one of the most decorated tag team champions of all time. I told those guys that was going to happen. Jey right now is super duper hot, so you gotta put the rocket on him sooner or later. Jey is a guy that definitely could be the world champion one day, the way the people are looking at him right now, so I think to capitalize off of that, you have to put the title on him sooner or later because he’s uber hot right now.”

Over the past year, Uso has been involved in multiple major storylines, including his spot in The Bloodline, which took numerous different twists and turns. He has become one of WWE's top singles wrestlers since moving to RAW. His team-ups with Cody Rhodes have also been enjoyable to watch, especially when facing Judgement Day.

Uso would likely compete for a secondary title within the company. A potential run at the United States Championship could set up an entertaining storyline between him and Sami Zayn, with their time together in The Bloodline a good jumping-off point.

WWE could go bigger, though. A run at the World Heavyweight Championship would pit him against Gunther or Seth Rollins, both of whom would make for good TV.

Whatever WWE decides, it's clear that Uso has earned his chance to hold a singles championship. How he gets to that point and the stories that will be told will remain to be seen.
