Before I became an Apartment Therapy editor and had the opportunity to test out dozens upon dozens of sheets (so you don’t have to — you’re welcome!) I wasn’t too picky about my bed linens. Anything that was cheap and felt soft enough would do, even if I sweat through the night. Now, I know better. A good set of sheets makes a world of a difference. They typically hold up longer, feel better, and eventually lead to less clutter in your closet since you don’t have to replace them as often. On the down side, they also tend to cost more. However, I’m all about getting nice bed sheets on sale.
