    More than 18k without power in Oneida Co. Noon Weds.

    Update 12:00 p.m. Wednesday 7-17-2024: As of this update, National Grid is working to restore power to those impacted by Tuesday’s storms.

    Here is a snapshot of the National Grid map from their Outage Central website .

    As of Noon Wednesday, National Grid reported 18,268 customers affected by outages in Oneida County and National Grid is still assessing the condition of the power grid and is unable to give a time for restoration.

    Madison County Wednesday Noon update

    CENTRAL NEW YORK (WSYR-TV) — As severe storms ripped through Central New York on Tuesday, July 16, thousands of people in the region have been left without power.

    According to National Grid, thousands of people in Syracuse’s Valley neighborhood are without power, along with thousands of people in Phoenix, Chittenango and Rome.
