LCM (50m) Results on MeetMobile (“2024 Speedo Sectionals – Mt Hood”) Mt Hood Community College Aquatic Center hosted one of the four Speedo Sectionals meets that took place this past weekend. The Mt Hood Sectionals meet saw some really phenomenal racing by junior swimmers. On the first two days of the meet, Portland Aquatic Club 16-year-old Mena Boardman was on fire. Boardman won an individual event on each of the first two days of the meet. She kicked things off with a huge personal best of 56.62 en route to winning the women’s 100 free. Boardman entered the day with a personal best of 57.43, marking an improvement of nearly a second with her finals swim. She showed her speed off in that race, taking it out in a speedy 27.04 on the first 50.

LCM (50m) Results on MeetMobile (“2024 Speedo Sectionals – Mt Hood”) Following some awesome performances by junior swimmers on the first two days of the Summer Sectionals meet in Mt Hood, the final two days of the meet kept the pace up. Portland Aquatic Club 16-year-old Mena Boardman continued to impress on the back half of the meet, winning the women’s 100 fly in 1:00.21. That swim wasn’t a personal best for Boardman, as she’s been 59.37 before, but she did manage to win the race by a whopping 1.62 seconds nonetheless.
