    Brownfields cleanup alternatives to be discussed at upcoming Pocahontas County Commission meeting

    MARLINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Members of the Pocahontas County Commission are scheduled to meet on Tuesday evening for a meeting which will see discussion of many agenda items, including Brownsfields cleanup alternatives.

    Tuesday’s meeting is set to take place at 5:30pm at 900 Tenth Avenue in the Marlinton area. The meeting will feature discussion and potential action with regard to a public meeting pertaining to analysis of Brownfields cleanup alternatives (ABCS) for cleanup at the former Howes Tannery site.

    Also scheduled to see discussion during the mid-July session of the commission is the Pocahontas County ARC Broadband Project Environmental review, budget revisions, appointments, and more.
