Abbie Chatfield’s heartfelt dating advice for single women has identified a telling list of reasons to “dump” inadequate boyfriends that everyone needs to read – even men.

The popular TV host recently shared a gushing “love letter” to her new boyfriend, Australian musician Adam Hyde, alongside a message for those who are frustrated by sub par relationships and the notoriously insufferable dating scene.

Her affectionate note to Hyde, who is one half of the ARIA-winning electric duo Peking Duk, expressed “gratitude” for the romantic things the musician does for her – but it also exposed everything Chatfield was missing from her former relationships.

As a result, her letter to her new man ended up listing of all the things women shouldn’t put up with, which the It’s A Lot podcast host told her 478,000 followers was “a sign to dump that loser” who wasn’t treating them right.

Many women then added to the list, subsequently giving incredibly eye-opening insights that could arguably benefit anyone who dates the opposite sex.

“I’m crying looking at these film photos while Adam is playing a gig, so pls accept my love letter to Adam as a sign to dump that loser who makes you feel like you aren’t easy to love,” the former Bachelor contestant captioned a series of snaps she shared with her musings.

She continued by listing a multitude of common reasons women feel undervalued in relationships, such as “can’t commit”, “won’t communicate” and “doesn’t take their part of the mental load”.

“[If he] just doesn’t make you laugh so hard you can’t make sound!!!!!!!!!!! Dump them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she continued, before calling on followers to “add ur other reasons to dump them in comments”.

Women heard her call to arms and quickly sprung into action, detailing their own relationship experiences, and the reasons they wished they’d called time on a past romance.

“Dump them for making you feel guilty about wanting open and clear communication,” one shared.

“Don’t date any man who refuses to see a therapist,” another declared.

As one said: “If pets don’t like a partner, dump them.”

“I should’ve dumped him when he didn’t stand up for me when his friend disrespected me,” said one woman.

“Dump someone who doesn’t support your health struggles,” chipped in another.

As for the love letter itself, that also evoked a huge response from Chatfield’s fans, largely due to its romantic nature.

“Adam takes care of me so effortlessly that sometimes it can hurt, knowing I went so long without having this, and what I had to endure before we were together,” she penned.

“My mental health has been a little off lately, and Adam organised a date as he so often does.

“I had mentioned Sean’s Panorama briefly in passing the week before, so he booked it as a nice little surprise.”

Chatfield went on to state her boyfriend “does small things like this daily” that she said made her feel “seen and loved and considered”.

“[He’s] always being proactive in showing his love, he listens to what I say, he absorbs it,” she continued.

“He makes it easy for me to say what I want. He will be excited whether I said I want to go home after dinner or I want to go for another drink, because he is just excited to be with me.”

She continued by describing how Adam will hold her hand when she’s feeling anxious and is her biggest supporter.

The influencer, who has amassed a large following as an outspoken feminist, concluded by sharing her surprise at finding a man who makes her feel safe – giving fans assurance that there’s no need to settle.

“I just wish I had known it was going to be like this,” she said.

“I wish I knew that this was coming, because nothing else before matters. There was never a reason to worry. There was never a reason to settle for any less.”

Fans were quick to commend the star, sharing their happiness at witnessing Chatfield finally find love.

“Most iconic Aussie love story since Scott and Charlene,” one said.

“This is how it should be, you’re an amazing lady,” another chipped in.

As one noted: “This is what it feels like to be married to a woman.”
