    • We incorrectly referred to Narendra Modi as India’s president, rather than prime minister ( ‘A bittersweet pill’: Asian pride in Sunak – but also disappointment , 8 July, p12). This error was in our print edition only.

    • An editing error meant Norman Baker was described as a “former” privy counsellor in a note below his published letter ( Palace visit proceeds , 12 July, Journal, p5). Privy counsellors are appointed for life.
