BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania has suspended the former Bedford County District Attorney.

Lesley Childers-Potts has been suspended from the bar for two years, which goes into effect on Aug. 15, 2024.

The suspension comes after multiple cases and charges were dismissed due to prosecutorial misconduct. In some cases, Childers-Potts failed to uphold the right to a speedy trial.
