Buff Bagwell Shares Update After Being Re-Hospitalized

Back in 2020, Buff Bagwell was involved in a serious car accident due to being impaired by prescription medications. This would lead him to multiple broken bones, tears, and ruptures, and at one point, it even appeared he was going to have to have his leg amputated. Therefore, when he recently disclosed he was undergoing surgery on his leg, most assumed it was related to this incident.

However, while it was initially thought all was well with the recuperating former WCW wrestler, over the weekend, Bagwell would reveal he had been re-hospitalized in a now-deleted tweet. Yet, in some positive news, he has now thankfully confirmed on X that he is back home, seemingly being over the worst.

“Had a follow up surgery on my leg due to infection, but I’m home now and comfortable!”

It appears the 2020 accident was a wake-up call for Bagwell, as the following year, he would reach out to Diamond Dallas Page in an attempt to get help battling his demons. This would see Bagwell move in with the WWE Hall of Famer, and while he would suffer from setbacks, it’s now understood the 54-year-old has turned his life around and has been sober for almost two years.
