Dogs are so easy to fool it's just a little bit hilarious. Whether you're throwing a fake tennis ball or doing a magic trick they've literally seen with their own eyes a thousand times before, they're just like little kids!

One Golden Retriever proved me right on Monday, July 15th, when she brought her dad a sock. It's a magic trick she's seen before, but it totally mystifies her every time, and lucky us, it never gets any less cute:

Pawbrey wins. No, I will not elaborate on that. Pawbrey simply wins, all the time, rain or shine, she's the winner!

Pawbrey, whose legal name is Aubrey, won the internet over pretty soon after joining it. Now, she has over 463,000 followers and has received 43 million likes across all of her videos - that's a lot of likes, but at the same time, not enough. Aubrey does not have enough fans. She needs more!

When she's not being adored by the masses, Aubrey settles for just being adored by her parents, and part of that includes having a front-row seat to her dad's magic show. When she wants to see her favorite trick, all she has to do is bring her dad a sock and wait for him to make it disappear! She's seen this trick before, but still can't figure out how it works - and I hope she never does!

Do Dogs Really Have the IQ of a 2-Year-Old?

If there's one thing I love, it's a good bout of social media myth-busting. Recently, TikTok in particular has taken to saying that dogs are about as intelligent as a 2-year-old child. They use it as a way to remind us to be kind and patient with our furry friends, which is so sweet, but... is it true?

The exact level of a dog's intelligence varies widely depending on their breed; there are some breeds that are much more "intelligent" than others. However, most "average" breeds legitimately do have the intelligence of a child between 2 and 2.5 years old. They understand words and phrases, and they're incredibly emotionally intelligence, but they struggle with things like object permanence.

When this gets talked about on social media, it's almost in a backhanded-compliment type of way; "they're only as smart as a 2-year-old, you know!" However, these findings are actually a massive compliment to dogs' intelligence; in the past, many researchers believed them to be anywhere between a 6-month-old and a 1-year-old child.

Be kind to your pups and always do magic for them, but remember, they're smarter than we think!
