Watch as Insane Shayne Catches Marshmallows in His Mouth: 'A Golden Retriever's Got Nothing on Me'

Through the years, America’s Got Talent has had numerous intriguing, fun and funny novelty acts audition, but if my facts are correct, Season 19 is the first time the show has had someone audition calling themselves a marshmallow catcher.

Shayne Boyle , aka Insane Shayne, 24, from Fort Mills, SC, is in reality a viral YouTuber with more than 2 million combined followers on social media, who performs a variety of comedy skits on his channels. For his AGT audition, he chose marshmallows, so it’s a catch and spit performance as there’s not time for him to swallow the marshmallows.

He jokes, “I’ve got the best mouth on TikTok.”

The most incredible catch is a marshmallow thrown from the balcony and he has to dive to catch it in his mouth.

Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel try to get in on the action, throwing a marshmallow from their seat at the judges’ table, but their throws are bad. Simon Cowell , however, has a much better arm and his marshmallow makes it into Shane’s mouth.

And in case you’re wondering, these are good-sized marshmallows, not the mini marshmallows that go in your hot chocolate.

When he was done, Sofia Vergara asked, “How did you discover you had this talent?”

Shayne answers, “Hibachi grill when I was about 12.”

After the laughs, Simon said, “What I loved about this is we just weren’t expecting this. Okay, we’re going to vote.”

It was a yes for Howie; Sofia said, “It’s useless but yes;” and both Heidi and Simon gave Shayne a yes as well.

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.
