    Child missing in Cheyenne County found safe

    CHEYENNE COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — A child who went missing in Cheyenne County has been found safe.

    The Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office said the child left home around 7 a.m. for a football weight program but did not arrive. He was seen around 9 a.m. walking in an area not close to home or where the weight program was being held.

    Search parties were out looking for the child. Cheyenne County Emergency Communications posted on Facebook that the child had been found safe at 8:16 p.m.
