The 2024 MLB Draft fun didn't stop with Chicago Cubs pick of Palm Beach Central alum Cam Smith in Sunday's first round.

On the draft's second day, two more Palm Beach County natives joined the former Florida State third baseman in the big leagues.

Saint John Paul II's Gavin Adams to Washington Nationals

In the event you feel like you're experiencing déjà vu, Adams was selected by the Washington Nationals on day 3 of last year's draft.

This July, the righty pitcher was picked 234th by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the eighth round. His selection comes along with a contract valuation of $224.5k.

Adams' last year of college baseball ended at Florida State alongside Smith. However, Tommy John surgery barred the 6-foot-4, 195 pounder from ever barreling out of the bullpen for the Seminoles as expected.

Before transferring to FSU, Adams attended Indian River State College, as well as State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota.

Park Vista's Fisher Jameson to Colorado Rockies

A run to CWS semifinals certainly improved Jameson's draft stock. Not to mention the Park Vista alumni's proven ability to be a lockdown closer, going 5-0 with 3 saves and a team-best 3.99 ERA for the Florida Gators in 2024.

Three seasons in Gainesville saw the 6-foot-5, 240-pound, righty arm pick up seven career wins and four career saves. But if he's looking for more money from the big leagues, there's a chance Jameson forgoes the MLB and opts in for his senior year at UF.

Jameson was the No. 288 pick for the Colorado Rockies, which carries an approximate contract value of $185.80k.
