Had a new OB/GYN fit my third child (white woman but 40 years ago)- just not sure things are better! He argued with me when baby was overdue (by my dates AND his!) A family friend had overdue child with developmental issues and we didn’t want that! He tried the “well, when you’ve delivered as many babies as I have”, so I retorted,”well, when you’ve HAD as many as I have!” So we did set a timeline! Kid beat it by 1 day, or would have been induced. That kid still needs deadlines!

I’m so happy for you that you were able to find a new doctor for your second pregnancy everyone has the right to fill involved with their care and to experience comfort and relief with the care they are getting
