Trump Drops Unity Message In Truth Social Rant, Slams Democrats And Accuses Them Of Election Interference

Former President Donald Trump angrily ranted on social media after news broke that President Joe Biden is readying to press for sweeping reforms to the Supreme Court, including term limits and an “enforceable code of ethics.”

“The Radical Left Democrats are desperately trying to “Play the Ref” by calling for an illegal and unConstitutional attack on our SACRED United States Supreme Court,” Trump fumed, adding :

The reason that these Communists are so despondent is that their unLawful Witch Hunts are failing everywhere. The Democrats are attempting to interfere in the Presidential Election, and destroy our Justice System, by attacking their Political Opponent, ME, and our Honorable Supreme Court. We have to fight for our Fair and Independent Courts, and protect our Country. MAGA2024!

Trump had vowed to pivot to a more united message following the attempt on his life over the weekend but returned to his regular rhetoric on Tuesday – accusing Democrats of acting against the U.S.

Biden “is also weighing whether to call for a constitutional amendment to eliminate broad immunity for presidents and other constitutional officeholders, the people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss private deliberation,” wrote the Washington Post’s Tyler Pager and Michael Scherer in a bombshell report — citing two people familiar with the president’s plans.

The move appears to be a direct response to the Supreme Court’s recent ruling in favor of former President Donald Trump. The court gave presidents and former presidents sweeping immunity for “official acts,” but largely left it to lower courts to determine exactly what constitutes an “official act.”

The Supreme Court has been plagued by scandal in recent months after lavish gifts to Justice Clarence Thomas were uncovered by investigative journalists.
