Fight fans don't know what to make of the sit-down interview segment between YouTuber/boxer Jake Paul and Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship star Mike Perry on Tuesday.

The two fighters came face-to-face ahead of their scheduled boxing pay-per-view headliner on Saturday. What started out as a typical verbal exchange between two opponents turned into a testosterone-filled rhyming contest.

"Let me tell you what you're going to see, Michael Perry," Paul said with veins popping on the side of his neck. "You listen to me, brother. You're going down, flat into the ground. When I get my hands on you Saturday night, I'm going to eat you in one bite."

Perry responded: "He's rhyming but he ain't got the diamond. You ain't got the speed that you need."

The odd exchange between the two fighters led to an open roasting session on social media. One fan said the segment was so bad that it might have changed his mind on purchasing the fight.

"My god, the cringe," another fan posted.

One fan wasn't receptive of the idea that this was a testosterone-fueled face-off. Instead, he believes something else could be going on with the two fighters.

"Just feels scripted now," a fan posted.

Another fan posted a GIF of a mouse shaking its head in disapproval.

Paul was initially slated to fight Mike Tyson, but the boxing legend was forced to pull out of the bout due to an ulcer flare-up. Now, he'll take on the rising BKFC star and former UFC middleweight contender.

Paul is coming off a first-round TKO win over Ryan Bourland in a boxing match back in March, while Perry stopped Thiago Alves in the first round at BKFC: Knucklemania IV in April.

The pay-per-view bout between Paul and Perry is scheduled to air on DAZN with a $64.99 price tag for the event.
