Music producer and Murder Inc. Records co-founder Irv Gotti is now the latest hip-hop mogul to be accused of rape.

As reported by the Miami New Times , a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade on July 11 accuses the producer (real name Irving Domingo Lorenzo, Jr.) of sexually assaulting and abusing a woman (identified only as Jane Doe) on several occasions. The alleged incidents occurred from 2020 to 2022 in Miami, Atlanta, and Saint Martin.

The lawsuit is seeking a trial by jury.

“As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, Plaintiff has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm for which she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward,” the lawsuit reads. “These injuries continue and affect Plaintiff to this day.”

“Jane Doe” says that she and Gotti met through a mutual friend in 2020 at a poker tournament. Afterward, Gotti invited her on a vacation to Saint Martin. It was there that Gotti allegedly coerced her into having sex with him. If not, he would send her home.

The lawsuit states that she complied “due to his power and influence in the music world,” and the two began dating.

“Jane Doe” allegedly “suffered constant abuse” during their two-year courtship, with Gotti demanding that she perform unwanted sexual acts.

The lawsuit claims that during a trip to Miami in January 2022, Gotti forced her to perform oral sex on him in the elevator at the Four Seasons Hotel. Later that summer, he allegedly forced her to have oral sex again, this time inside an Uber in Atlanta.

The lawsuit reads that the relationship ended shortly after this event.

In addition to the abuse, Gotti is accused of using his large social following to slander her name, leaving her afraid to leave her home.

At press time, the Miami New Times was unable to reach Gotti for comment.
