Southampton will be looking to "razzle dazzle" the rest of the Premier League when they return to the top flight for 2024/25, and now the Saints will look the part, too, after launching their new kit — which leans heavily into the city's history as U.K. naval base and features an eye-catching jersey design.
This season's Saints jerseys take inspiration from Southampton's naval history, by featuring a "razzle dazzle" pattern, also known as "dazzle painting".
The design was first used on ships, including HMS Southampton — which was named after the city — to confuse the enemy about a ship's speed and course.

The home shirt returns to traditional red and white stripes for this season, with the "razzle dazzle" design on the sleeves and on the back of the shirt. And Saints fans will be happy to see more traditional touches with black shorts and white socks with red details.
The away kit includes the same pattern on both the front of the shirt and sleeves in a yellow color, with navy crew neck collar and navy trim on the sleeves.
The jerseys have been manufactured by Puma for the first time, after Saints switched kit supplier from last season's deal with Hummel.
The new kit is likely to be debuted when Southampton travel to neighbors Eastleigh on July 19 to begin their pre-season preparations.
