Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have a big game coming up on Wednesday as they look to make it three straight wins in a matchup against the Dallas Wings. The bad news, however, is that this will be their last game before the upcoming Olympic break.

The regular season will be put on hold starting on July 18 for the WNBA All-Star break. The hiatus will then extend to make way for the Summer Olympics in Paris, which will end on August 11.

The WNBA has scheduled its Olympic break from July 21 to August 14, which means that the Fever won't be in action for nearly a full month.

WNBA fans are beginning to come to terms with this harsh reality as the dreaded date approaches. A lot of them, however, could not help but air their frustration on the mean streets of X, formerly Twitter.

"How are we supposed to survive the Olympic break?" asked a Clark-dedicated X account.

"Dude, I'm already Jonesing.... it's gonna be rough.. :(" admitted a fan.

"By protesting for Sides resignation," suggested another.

"I recorded all her televised games for her last 2 seasons in Iowa. I'm going back and watching them," revealed a die-hard supporter.

"The @IndianaFever better be force feeding us behind-the-scenes content of practices, team brunches, players’ new puppy videos and Aliya Samuelson play date montages," commented a fan.

The consolation here is that Clark will be playing in the WNBA All-Star Game Saturday. After that, however, the fans will have no other choice but to live through nearly four Caitlin Clark-less weeks.

Indiana will return to action August 17 against the Phoenix Mercury.
