There are a lot of great places to shop, but I have a new favorite online store: Temu.

Recently, I checked out the site and ended up ordering a ton of stuff from there -- all of which was decent in quality and cost far less than similar items I'd checked out elsewhere.

While there are many deals worth looking at on Temu, here are my favorite Temu buys under $10.

    1. Bright foldable lantern

Summer is the season for camping, and it's also a time when there are a ton of power outages (at least in my area) due to frequent storms. That's why a super-bright LED lantern for under $10 is such a great purchase.

Temu has an awesome folding lantern that is portable and collapsible, and that includes a flashlight as a nice bonus. Best of all, it comes at a cost of just $5.80.

A similar Amazon lantern, sold as a two-pack, comes at a cost of $8.50 per lantern, despite appearing virtually identical to Temu's offering. That's $2.70 more out of your bank account . Why pay more for such a cheap item?

Temu also offers free standard shipping on most orders, so as long as you aren't in a huge hurry to receive your items, you won't pay anything additional to have them shipped.

My family took these lanterns on our last camping trip and the bright light they provided was great for nighttime exploring. Since you just pop them up to turn them on, they were also intuitive and easy to use.

    2. Mini portable charger

Oddly, my phone never seems to stay charged throughout a full day (which I'm sure has nothing to do with my toddler stealing it to try to take 1,000 pictures and watch Blippi ). A phone charger is a must, but I tend to break or lose them. Fortunately, Temu offers a charger for just $8.88.

The charger is a 4500mAh Ultra Compact Power Bank that comes with a built-in plug, so no extra cables are needed. It comes in different colors as well. It's virtually identical to a similar product being sold on Amazon for a whopping $20.99, which would mean you'd be putting more than double the amount on your credit cards .

This charger connected right to my phone and kept it going for a full day at Disney, despite the fact I took a lot of pictures of my 2 year old's first kiddie roller coaster ride.

    3. A portable desktop fan

In keeping with the summer theme, a portable desktop fan can help keep you cool during these warm months when air conditioning can't keep up. You could pay $13.99 for a 6.5-inch three-speed offering from Amazon, or opt for a 6.5-inch model with five speeds from Temu that costs just $7.99.

Temu's version comes in a choice of colors and received 4.8 out of 5 stars in 489 reviews. I was pleased with how easy it was to carry and adjust, and it definitely kept my workspace cooler.

    4. Portable wireless handheld vacuum

Finally, I got a portable wireless handheld vacuum from Temu that cost $7.99. This was another great bargain compared with a very similar model sold at Amazon for $19.98.

Temu's offering comes with a detachable filter and dirt collector, a 2000-mAH lithium battery, and a 120 watt high-powered motor. It did an amazing job cleaning the dog hair and Goldfish crackers out of my car.

All of these deals were great bargains, with awesome prices and amazing functionality. So you might want to turn to Temu for items like these.
