Drake 's swanky $100million pad in Toronto, Canada, has been hit by a flood .

The 37-year-old rapper gave fans a glimpse of the chaos on his Instagram Stories, even cracking a joke amidst the turmoil. Inside his massive 50,000-square-foot abode, Drake captured footage of muddy water surging through his home as his team scrambled to contain the mess.

In the video, we see his assistant frantically trying to seal off living areas and what looks like a walk-in wardrobe from the invading waters. The 'God's Plan' artist is then seen wading through the flood with a broom in hand, the dirty water reaching up to his shins.

With a touch of humor, Drake, dressed in a dark shirt paired with red shorts, quipped in his post: "This better be Espresso Martini," poking fun at the murky water's resemblance to the cocktail.

These shocking events unfolded as Toronto suffered extensive storm damage, with three major storms wreaking havoc across the city. This led to widespread power outages and left many residents stranded.

Reportedly, Toronto experienced nearly four inches of rainfall in a single day on Tuesday, shattering an 80-year-old record. Drake's mansion was flooded just a few months after it was the scene of a "drive-by shooting."

On May 7, the rapper's security guard was shot while "standing outside of the gates, in front of the home," according to a statement from the Toronto Police to The Mirror US.

The alleged shooting occurred after the security guard was "lured outside," sources told the Toronto Sun. Local reports suggest that the unnamed employee was enticed outside by a car playing loud music outside the extravagant residence. It is claimed that suspects inside the vehicle then fired at the guard after he came out to investigate, hitting him in the upper body.

Days later, at 3:30pm EDT on May 9, police were called again but before they could reach the scene, the rapper's security guards reportedly got into a physical fight with the intruder. After the arrival of the police and an ambulance, the trespasser was taken to the hospital, the Toronto Police Service informed TMZ.
