    Power outages down, still affecting some in the Southern Tier

    Update (7/18, 10:15 a.m.): Power has been restored to a wide majority of NYSEG customers, but some are still without power, according to NYSEG’s outage report.

    • 281 customers are without power in Broome County
    • 630 customers are without power in Chenango County
    • 243 customers are without power in Cortland County
    • 180 customers are without power in Delaware County
    • 229 customers are without power in Tioga County

    (WIVT/WBGH) – Several counties in the Southern Tier are experiencing power outages due to the recent storm.

    According to NYSEG, there are currently outages in Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, and Tioga counties.

    Based on information from customer reports, NYSEG has predicted the following outages:

    • 1,204 customers are without power in Broome County
    • 1,269 customers are without power in Chenango County
    • 745 customers are without power in Cortland County
    • 384 customers are without power in Delaware County
    • 1,154 customers are without power in Tioga County
