It's Emmy nominations day, and the main categories will be announced on Wednesday July 17 at 11.30am EST / 8.30am PST, live from the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood by former Emmy winners Tony Hale ( Veep ) and Sheryl Lee Ralph ( Abbott Elementary ).

Will Netflix's Scoop, a re-telling of the now-infamous BBC interview with Prince Andrew, which ultimately led to the suspension of the Duke's royal duties, get a nod? David Beckham 's titular documentary is also looking like a lock, while the Best Drama race is wide open this year, with Shogun, The Crown, and The Gilded Age all looking favorable.

Dick Van Dyke and Lady Gaga may be going up against each other in  Best Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), while it seems like Best Limited or Anthology Series is anyone's guess, with Ripley, Baby Reindeer, Fargo, Fellow Travelers, and Lessons in Chemistry all vying for a spot.
