Red Swan K-drama episode 6 spoilers
Episode 6 of Red Swan began with the aftermath of the attack that left Seo Do-Yoon gravely injured. However, he managed to protect Wan-Soo’s life, as she sustained minor injuries and recovered soon. Meanwhile, Do-Yoon had to undergo surgery, which was a success. But he needed more time to recover. The mastermind behind the attack turned out to be a fellow security guard that K1 appointed to take care of Wan-Soo. Furthermore, on a phone call with the one who hired her, she apologized for the mission’s failure.
Oh Wan-Soo recovers from the attack
With Wan-Soo in the recovery room, her husband and Hwain Group heir, Kim Yong-Guk, waited for her to wake up. However, as soon as she regained consciousness, she asked about Do-Yoon’s whereabouts, which infuriated Yong-Guk. He left the hospital soon after and visited Do-Yoon, who was still unconscious. Meanwhile, K1 discovered CCTV cameras inside Do-Yoon’s room, implying she couldn’t attack him.
Back at the Hwain Grand Palace, the General Commissioner met with Chairwoman Park Mi-Ran and fund manager Han Sang-Il, who asked the commissioner to look into the attacker’s identity. However, Sang-Il indicated that this should be dealt with quietly. In the hospital, Wan-Soo went to visit Do-Yoon, but he was nowhere to be found.
Do-Yoon secured the CCTV footage from the accident location from his friend and colleague. Meanwhile, Yong-Guk handed more money to security head Park Kyeong-Ju for laundering.
On the other hand, Sang-Il asked Yong-Min and his wife to invest in Yong-Guk’s business. However, the couple wanted Wan-Soo and Yong-Guk to apologize for their behavior.
Oh Wan-Soo & Seo Do-Yoon share an emotional hug
Oh Wan-Soo met with a recovering Seo Do-Yoon. When she asked him about putting his life in danger, Do-Yoon maintained that he only followed his heart like his mother advised him. Wan-Soo felt helpless but clarified that she trusted Do-Yoon fully. The two held hands and shared an emotional hug, indirectly confessing their feelings for each other.
Back at home, Wan-Soo discussed Mi-Ran’s strategy of buying one’s life with money. Mi-Ran asked Wan-Soo to deal with Jang Tae-Ra, who wanted to invest in the duty-free business. Wan-Soo later warned Tae-Ra and her mother to pull themselves out of the deal or suffer the consequences.
At the NOW Foundation, Wan-Soo asked her brother, Hyun-Soo, for the foundation’s ledgers that were with Han Sang-Il. However, Hyun-Soo warned that he might take the fall if anything went wrong.
Park Mi-Ran & Han Sang-Il’s real connection revealed
Later in the episode, viewers saw Mi-Ran visiting Sang-Il with a bottle of wine at the latter’s house. He invited her inside and closed the blinds, with Kim Yong-Guk witnessing their interaction. The episode shifted to a flashback when Yong-Guk saw the two of them having an affair. Mi-Ran revealed that her husband and late chairman, Kim Duo, knew about the affair. This left a young Yong-Guk in tears.
At the security quarters, Do-Yoon met Kyeong-Ju and talked about suspecting Yong-Guk of being involved with the Eight Star gang’s contract killing business. However, Kyeong-Ju didn’t think of Yong-Guk as a suspect. Do-Yoon then forced Kyeong-Ju to reveal details about Yong-Guk’s money-laundering business.
Red Swan episode 6: What happens at the end?
At night, Wan-Soo met Do-Yoon and asked him to bring her the foundation’s ledgers from Han Sang-Il’s place. Do-Yoon made an entire plan and even fabricated Sang-Il’s fingerprints to enter the house. Given that there were no CCTV cameras inside, Do-Yoon realized that all of the dirty money laundering would happen here.
However, as he made his way into the house, security K1, who had attacked him and Wan-Soo previously, saw him. She informed Sang-Il of the same. As he made his way back, Do-Yoon had already taken the ledgers and headed to the NOW Foundation. Sang-Il realized Do-Yoon had taken away the ledgers and informed Chairwoman Park Mi-Ran.
By the end of the episode, Do-Yoon took the ledgers to Wan-Soo but advised that he hold on to them. However, just as he was leaving, the prosecution arrived with a search and seizure warrant and arrested Hyun-Soo.
