Shaquille O'Neal appeared on Good Morning America on Wednesday to talk about his new game show, and couldn't help but poke fun at fellow NBA alum Charles Barkley .

The former Los Angeles Lakers player will host the upcoming game show Lucky 13 along with actress Gina Rodriguez. About the show, Shaq told the GMA hosts: "It’s a show where we ask the contestant 13 true or false questions with the twist of, 'Okay we just asked you 13 questions, how many do you think you got right?' And of course, if you say you got all 13 right you win $1million.”

He admitted that the show is "not easy" but turned out great, praising his cohost and the "interesting characters" they have as contestants. "I actually learned a lot,” he added.

One of the GMA co-hosts asked him who would do better in the show, him or Gina. He responded: “Gina is way smarter than I am. I’m not that smart."

But he couldn't help but take a swipe at his old friend. "I’m smarter than Charles Barkley," he said as the cohosts laughed.

“Charles I hate you. I know you’re watching,” He told the camera as he stuck his tongue out at it.

Shaq and Charles are both commentators on Inside the NBA, the sports commentary show on basketball. The two are close friends, with Shaq saying on the show last year that Charles was "the older brother I never had."

About their playful fighting, Shaq has said: "We fight, we argue,” O’Neal said. “I have little brothers, I have teammates, Grant [Hill] has seen me choke one of my teammates out. It’s part of love.”

Lucky 13 will air on ABC with the first episode premiering Thursday July 18 at 9pm EST. Gina and Shaq aren't the only two big names attached to this upcoming show, as actor Kevin Bacon is one of the executive producers.

The show was announced in May and comes from Adrian Woolfe, one of the members of the creative team that developed Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, a hit 2000s game show that recently had a comeback with a celebrity edition.
