Aaron Judge, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and William Contreras all took to the field Tuesday for the MLB All-Star Game wearing Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” cleats.

The shoes play it close to the Air Jordan 3 ‘s original form, albeit with a studded outsole plate to provide traction on the field. The Jumpman logo is also used on the mustache rather than the OG “Nike Air” mark, while pairs for the three players were customized with an MLB All-Star patch on the right tongue.

Released on Monday, the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” baseball cleat is still widely available through Nike’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $190.

The Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” is one of the most beloved sneakers in the Air Jordan line. It’s one of four of the model’s original four colorways, and Michael Jordan only wore it on the court for the 1998 NBA All-Star Game.

As the first Air Jordan designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 3 is credited as helping to convince Jordan to stay with Nike at the end of his first contract. The shoe was the first in the line to feature a visible Air unit and the Jumpman logo, and Jordan’s input was considered for its mid-cut allowing more ankle movement and supple tumbled leather replacing the more stiff material used for the Air Jordan 2, which Jordan was famously not a fan of.

In November, the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” will release again for the first time since 2018.
