Thousands of Pennsylvanians are still without power after severe thunderstorms downed trees across the region on Tuesday, July 16.

The outages are mostly concentrated in the following areas, according to the PPL and Met-Ed outage maps:

    • Fontaine
    • Atglen
    • Wyomissing
    • Lanark
    • Hanover
    • Brogue/Collinsville
    • Emigsville
    • Tinicum (Bucks)

Met-Ed offered no immediate timeline for the restoration of service to more than 17,000 customers without power. Meanwhile, PPL gave no total count of affected customers but said it expects to finish most repairs by 11 p.m. Wednesday, July 17.

The National Weather Service said to expect more humid conditions into Wednesday, with severe weather and thunderstorms possible.
