Reiss Nelson's Arsenal exit has been sealed, according to reports, as the winger prepares to complete a switch to West Ham.

As first revealed earlier this week, the wideman has been attracting interest from the Gunners' London Premier League rivals, and TEAMtalk now suggests that a deal has been agreed.

The decision deals a blow to Crystal Palace, who had also been pursuing the 24-year-old.

Julen Lopetegui's West Ham have been proactive in the transfer market so far this summer, and are aiming to bolster their squad for a European push in the upcoming season. They have targeted multiple players, with links also to Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo .

Nelson, who has been seeking regular first-team opportunities away from Arsenal, now appears to have opted for West Ham over Palace, swayed by the offer of a long-term contract and the promise of significant playing time.

When will Reiss Nelson complete West Ham move?

Nelson has been on the periphery at Arsenal in recent seasons and is thought to view regular playing minutes as essential for his career progression.

The Hammers are now said to be optimistic about finalizing the deal swiftly, aiming for Nelson to join their squad ahead of their pre-season tour in the USA.

Ironically, Nelson could end up facing his other potential suitors, Palace, sooner rather than later, with the two clubs meeting in a friendly fixture early next month.

West Ham will face Wolves in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, July 27, before going head-to-head with Palace in Tampa a week later.
