Offer you can’t refuse? Marlon Brando’s ‘The Godfather’ tuxedo up for auction

Here's an offer you can't refuse: Marlon Brando's tuxedo from " The Godfather " is up for auction.

The iconic suit was worn by the legendary actor in the opening wedding scenes of his Academy Award-winning role as Veto Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola’s classic 1972 gangster masterpiece.

Los Angeles-based Studio Auctions say the tux has never been to auction before, and estimate it to sell for over $200,000.

Brad Teplitsky, co-founder of Studio Auctions, says: "We are thrilled about the exceptional collection we’ve curated for this upcoming auction.

"Films like The Godfather hold a timeless allure, and we’re excited to offer our audience the chance to own a piece of cinematic history.”

Other highlights to feature in the “From Bombshells to Blasters: An Auction You Can’t Refuse” sale include Han Solo's blaster from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, an Iron Man suit worn by Robert Downey Jr. in Captain America: Civil War (estimate $154k), and the wand prop used in The Wizard of Oz by the "Good Witch of the South" (estimate $77k).

Also featured is the artwork collection of Academy Award-winning production designer Rick Carter. His collection encompasses artwork from several films of Steven Spielberg, including Back to the Future and Jurassic Park, as well as Avatar and Star Wars.

“We are honored to have been chosen by Carter to be the auction house to handle his collection,” says Brad Teplitsky.

The auction event will be held between Sept. 20 and 22.
