Bob Dylan has made it a point to ban cellphones at his newly announced U.K. tour stops. Fans will be asked to store their phones in special locked pouches for the duration of the show, which will be unlocked at the end of the performances.

According to a report from Music News, the tech company Yondr will provide the secure, magnetic, locking pouches for fans to store their phones. The company makes a specially patented pouch and magnetic unlocking device that works similar to security tag removal in retail. Musicians and comedians like Donald Glover and Dave Chappell, as well as school principals, have noted how much the energy and environment improves when fans and students are asked to put their phones away.

The legendary Bob Dylan is just the next in a line of musicians who have used the system. Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, and Ghost have also tried out the mandatory phone ban. For iconic venues like the Royal Albert Hall, this system is a great idea to keep fans present and in the moment.
